Commercial Snow Removal in St. Louis

Reliable snow plowing, de-icing, and sidewalk clearing for commercial properties across the St. Louis metro area.

Snow Removal You Can Count On

When winter hits St. Louis, commercial properties need snow removal that actually shows up. St. Louis averages 16 inches of snow per year across 8 to 12 snow events, and most of them happen between December and March. A single ice storm can shut down a parking lot for days if you don't have a plan in place.

Green Operations provides commercial snow removal and ice management services across St. Louis, Jefferson County, and St. Charles County. We bring the same crew, the same equipment, and the same reliability that our hardscaping and landscaping clients know us for -- just pointed at snow instead of stone.

With 20+ years in the outdoor services industry, we understand that snow removal is about more than plowing. It's about liability protection, keeping your business open, and making sure employees and customers can safely access your property.

Commercial Snow & Ice Services

Full-service winter management to keep your property safe, accessible, and compliant.

Snow Plowing

Commercial-grade truck plowing for parking lots, access roads, and large paved areas. We plow with the storm to keep accumulation manageable.

Salt & De-Icing

Pre-treatment and post-storm salting using bulk rock salt and treated salt blends. We also carry calcium chloride for extreme cold events below 15 degrees F.

Sidewalk Clearing

Shoveling, snow blowing, and de-icing for sidewalks, entryways, loading docks, and ADA-accessible paths. Keeping pedestrian areas clear is critical for liability.

24/7 Storm Monitoring

We monitor weather forecasts around the clock during winter months. When a storm is incoming, our crews are staged and ready before the first flake hits the ground.

Properties We Manage

Our commercial snow removal services are designed for properties where downtime is not an option.

Retail & Shopping Centers

Parking lots, fire lanes, cart corrals, and pedestrian walkways cleared before business hours. Clean lots keep customers coming in even during winter weather.

Office Complexes

Employee parking, visitor areas, main entrances, and emergency exits cleared and salted. We work overnight so your lot is ready by the morning commute.

HOA & Multi-Family

Community roads, shared parking, common sidewalks, and clubhouse areas. We coordinate with property managers to minimize disruption to residents.

Industrial & Warehouse

Loading docks, truck access lanes, and employee parking. Keeping logistics moving during winter storms is essential for distribution and manufacturing operations.

Medical & Healthcare

Patient drop-off zones, emergency entrances, ADA paths, and staff parking. Healthcare facilities require the highest priority response times, and we deliver.

Restaurants & Hospitality

Guest parking, valet areas, and outdoor dining spaces. First impressions matter, especially when your customers are choosing between staying home and going out.

Our Winter Response Plan

Reliability comes from preparation, not luck. Here is how we handle every snow event:

  • 48 hours before: Weather monitoring triggers crew alerts. Equipment is inspected, fueled, and staged at strategic locations near client properties.
  • Trigger depth (2 inches): Plowing operations begin. For most contracts, we start clearing at 2 inches of accumulation and continue plowing with the storm.
  • During the storm: Continuous monitoring and re-plowing as needed. Salt and de-icer applied to high-traffic areas and problem spots between passes.
  • After the storm: Final cleanup pass, full-lot salting, sidewalk clearing, and photo documentation. You receive a service confirmation for your records.

Every service visit is documented with timestamps and photos. This protects you in the event of a slip-and-fall claim and gives property managers a clear record for their files.

Seasonal Contracts vs. On-Call Service

We offer two contract structures depending on your property's needs and budget.

Seasonal Contract

One fixed monthly rate from November through March covers unlimited snow events. You know exactly what you are paying each month regardless of how much it snows. This is the most popular option for properties that need guaranteed service -- no per-event invoices, no surprises.

Best for: Retail, healthcare, office buildings, and any property where guaranteed response is non-negotiable.

Per-Event / On-Call

Pay per snow event based on accumulation depth and lot size. This option works well for properties with lower traffic or flexible schedules. Per-event pricing is based on tiered accumulation brackets (2-4 inches, 4-8 inches, 8+ inches).

Best for: Smaller lots, seasonal businesses, and properties with occasional weekend-only needs.

Seasonal contracts typically fill by mid-October. Contact us early to secure your spot for the upcoming winter season.
